I ask Allah SWT that He allows us to witness many more Ramadans, ameen!This time around when it came to negotiations with brands, influencers, closing deals, it has been a rollercoaster Allahumabarek! Good and Bad! I’d be lying to you if I said this is an easy thing to do, or a get rich quick scheme or a quick money grab and many more flashy catchy titles.Since the start of my IMA journey like many of you surely would relate, it has a lot of ups and downs, subhan'Allah I’ve had brands putting me in real tough positions with the influencers, and as a human being I wanted to give up and throw in the towel. Then you remember the reason, the ‘why’ you are doing this, building a business, being part of this community and wanting to be the best version of yourself, so you get back up and always remember, tawwakul. Allah SWT is the provider Alhamdulillah.I’m not perfect and I still have a lot to learn, but here’s what I’d like you to keep in mind:If one deal falls, a brand goes behind your back, an influencer goes behind your back, an influencer gets greedy, a brand doesn’t trust you, etc, these are things that will happen and unfortunately are inevitable, and is up to us on how to deal with them. We learn best when we make our own mistakes, as it scars us and we remember what to do and what not to do.Subhan'Allah more deals would have been closed this exact month, but I got greedy and tried other ways but I learnt my lesson, I’d rather make my mistake now rather than later.A highlight that I’ve learnt is that ‘The bigger the headache the bigger the reward’ and once again, my advice is dua, consistency, not to give up and dua!!Alhamdulillah for every step of the journey. May Allah SWT continue to guide us all. Ameen!

Both brands ghosted me for almost three weeks, but at the beginning of March, they reached out again, explaining that they had to finalize their budget. These first few months have been a huge learning experience, especially when it comes to negotiating with creators and communicating with brands over Zoom. As Eyoub mentioned in the course, experience is truly the best teacher! 😁 After securing the first deal, I was able to build a strong relationship with the brand, which led to a second collaboration. I could have pushed for a higher rate for both creators, but in the long run, it was worth prioritizing trust and a solid connection. Here are some key lessons I’ve learned: Tailor your pitch to the brand, go beyond a general approach and suggest specific content ideas that align with their campaign goals. Really analyse the creator’s content and audience (for example create a series around the partnership to secure a package deal) Be willing to leave some profit on the table sometimes, making the first deal work is more valuable in the long run, as it helps establish credibility and opens doors for future partnerships. Typically I wouldn’t post a win with the name of the influencer, but I wanted to share this one because I’m truly grateful I was able to pull it off with an influencer as big as he is. He has 22 million followers and his whole content is based around giving back to others. Allahumabarek. Alhamdulilah, the deal was $25k with $3k profit for me. I did want to get more and probably could’ve made around $6k, but I reminded myself not to be greedy. I figured it’s better to focus on building a long-term relationship. InshaAllah, bigger deals will come from this. One key takeaway I want to share, something I wish I had realized earlier, is to be careful about working with influencers who look good on paper but are actually brand risks or have been canceled. That caused more issues than I can count, but Alhamdulilah I caught on and now I know better. In the last month I've managed to close 6 deals with some big brands worth just over $20k, profiting $6,650. Alhamdulillah! Since Ramadan began I haven't had enough time to really do much work and I've been slacking. However, I've been making up for it with the ibadah in this blessed month and plenty of dua which I encourage all of us to do so. Allah is the sustainer and ultimately is the one who provides. With that being said, I'm also close to finalising the deal of a lifetime in just over a week... 👀 InshaAllah I am getting married in this blessed month of Ramadan and wanted to kindly ask you all to make dua for my marriage to be filled with barakah 🙌🙏. I definitely need the money now 😭😭 Jazakallah khair for everyone's help on this course so far and inshaAllah we all have success in all endeavours.

Eid Mubarak! Taqaballah Minna Minkum!First of all please say Allahumabarek as I share this with you! This month has been a blessing and I hope everyone benefitted spiritually and I pray that Allah SWT accepts from us our ibadah and forgives our sins,ameen! I ask Allah SWT that He allows us to witness many more Ramadans, ameen!This time around when it came to negotiations with brands, influencers, closing deals, it has been a rollercoaster Allahumabarek! Good and Bad! I’d be lying to you if I said this is an easy thing to do, or a get rich quick scheme or a quick money grab and many more flashy catchy titles.Since the start of my IMA journey like many of you surely would relate, it has a lot of ups and downs, subhan'Allah I’ve had brands putting me in real tough positions with the influencers, and as a human being I wanted to give up and throw in the towel. Then you remember the reason, the ‘why’ you are doing this, building a business, being part of this community and wanting to be the best version of yourself, so you get back up and always remember, tawwakul. Allah SWT is the provider Alhamdulillah.I’m not perfect and I still have a lot to learn, but here’s what I’d like you to keep in mind:If one deal falls, a brand goes behind your back, an influencer goes behind your back, an influencer gets greedy, a brand doesn’t trust you, etc, these are things that will happen and unfortunately are inevitable, and is up to us on how to deal with them. We learn best when we make our own mistakes, as it scars us and we remember what to do and what not to do.Subhan'Allah more deals would have been closed this exact month, but I got greedy and tried other ways but I learnt my lesson, I’d rather make my mistake now rather than later.A highlight that I’ve learnt is that ‘The bigger the headache the bigger the reward’ and once again, my advice is dua, consistency, not to give up and dua!!Alhamdulillah for every step of the journey. May Allah SWT continue to guide us all. Ameen!

Secured a $ 4,500 Deal, Profiting $ 1,300 !
Asalamu alaikum ikhwa. Firstly, Alhamdulillah for everything. Secondly, I never thought I’d be making this post because I had a lot of ups and downs in my own life (just like everyone else) since I started the course. Lastly, I don’t want to make this a long post but bear with me lol. So this is my third month into the course and had finally secured my first deal. I’m saying this to all the brothers that may be in the same position as me or getting there in terms of duration in the course. When I first joined the course, my energy and motivation was sky high just like the brothers I’m seeing join lately Allahouma barik. Masha’Allah may Allah always keep it that way for you guys. But sometimes sending emails and keeping track of the follow ups can get a bit mentally exhausting. Then the doubts start to kick in so don’t let these feelings slow you down, just remind yourself why you started and where you want to be b’idhni Allah! This deal made me so anxious at times because I lost hope thinking a lot of things have or would go wrong. Then Eyoub and some brothers reassured me to have Tawakul in Allah, may Allah increase them, Ameen. Which made me realize if Allah wills it, it will happen and if not then it was not good for me. But Alhamdulilah everything worked out and after all the contracts are signed you’ll get a sense of relief and gratitude because you put the effort in and the results are in Allah’s hands! I hope I’ve related in some way with you guys and glad I could share this achievement with my brothers, Allahumma Barik!
