One Deal Paid Him Three Months' Salary
Ammar's old job paid him €1,600 a month.
For that, he taught English online from 7am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. Then, every single weekend, he worked night shifts from 2am to 6am for other companies.
No real weekends. No real sleep. And a hard ceiling on all of it.
35 days into IMA, he closed one deal that put $4,800 of profit in his pocket.
1 deal. 3 months of that salary. In his 5 week.
Today, the teaching job is gone and Ammar makes more every single month with his agency than the job ever allowed him to earn.
The Cage With a Salary
Ammar is from Serbia, where the average salary is around €600 a month. At €1,600, he was earning nearly triple the average by every standard around him, he was winning.
But listen to how he describes the problem, because it's the clearest explanation of a capped income I've ever heard:
"I can do whatever I like. Be the best teacher ever. Three classes….that's everything."
No matter how good he got, the platform decided how many classes he taught, and the clock decided when his earning stopped. His skill, his effort, his ambition, none of it could move the number.
That's the real disease of a job. Not the work. The disconnect between what you put in and what comes out.
He looked ahead and saw himself doing this exact schedule for the next 20 years.
That was the moment he started looking for the way out.
Halal First, Opportunity Second
Ammar tried the usual doors. Selling t-shirts on Etsy. Then Forex.
And with Forex, the moment he heard the whispers that it's haram or atleast doubtful , he walked away. Immediately. His reasoning:
"I don't want to be three years into it and then oh, it's haram actually."
Then he did what the brothers in this blog keep doing, in exactly this order: he started making dua. Asking Allah for a good halal online business… something he could learn, improve in, and actually grow through.
A few weeks later, a video landed on his feed: how to make halal money.
Why the Model Clicked Instantly
Here's a detail that makes me smile. Ammar is obsessed with cars. He'd spent years watching car creators on YouTube. Repairs, drifting, builds, all of it.
So when the video explained the model: brands have products, influencers have audiences, your job is to connect them and get paid, he recognized the world immediately. He'd been living inside it as a viewer. His own hobby had been market research this whole time.
"When I saw that idea, I was like okay. Makes sense. Makes a lot of sense."
He did his research, and on January 1st, he joined.
Thirty-Five Days to Beat the Ceiling
A brother with zero business experience who actively disliked business… he used to skip ahead whenever a video mentioned the word "revenue."
What push him was this. A course that opens by teaching that everything is from Allah, do the work and don't stress. And a community where, in his words, "no one says 'what a stupid question.' The brothers are super genuine. They try to help you first."
35 days in, he closed his first deal. A multi month contract worth $8,400 in revenue, with $4,800 of that as pure profit.
Do the math against his old life. $4,800 is roughly three months of teaching salary earned from one negotiation, in week 5. And because it was a multi month deal, it kept paying while he kept building.
That's the difference between the two worlds. As a teacher, being excellent earned him nothing extra. In this model, every email, every follow-up, every negotiation moves the number.
His effort finally had somewhere to land.
The Job Is Gone
Here's where Ammar stands now.
The teaching job is finished. No more 7 to 4 on someone else's platform. No more 2am weekend shifts stacked on top just to stay ahead.
IMA is his work now and his monthly income is more than the job ever paid him, in a business where the ceiling he lived under simply doesn't exist. More outreach means more deals. More deals mean more income. The connection between effort and outcome that teaching denied him is now the entire engine of his life.
Simple, But Not Easy
When we asked Ammar what he'd tell the version of himself watching that first video, he said: "It's possible. It's simple, but not easy."
It's like memorising the Quran. The steps are simple, you sit down, you read, you repeat, you revise with your teacher. Anyone can describe it in one sentence. But anyone who has tried knows it is far from easy.
The same with this business. Improve, improve, improve. See what's not working and fix it. And when it clicks. Keep moving.
